Is ChatArcade free?

Yes. The game, the leaderboard, setup and many cosmetics are free. Extra characters, pools, name tags and effects can be unlocked with coins, but you never need them to play.

Does it work with Kick and Twitch?

Yes. Sign in with either platform. If you stream on both, link the accounts to share one overlay and one coin wallet.

Do I need a bot, Streamer.bot or API keys?

No. You sign in with your streaming account and add one browser source to OBS. The chat connection is handled for you.

What do viewers type to play?

The drop command: !drop by default (!jump works too). You can choose your own command, and moderators get extra commands such as queue mode.

Which streaming apps are supported?

Any app with a browser source, such as OBS Studio or Streamlabs. The game runs inside that browser source on your own computer.

How do coins work?

Coins unlock cosmetics in the store. New accounts get a welcome gift, and you can get more through Patreon support, support codes and invites.

Can I invite other streamers?

Yes. Your invite link is on the coins page. When the streamer you invite uses ChatArcade on their own stream with real viewers playing, you both get coins.

Is my account safe?

You sign in through the official Kick or Twitch login page, so we never see your password.

What are Arcade Points?

Arcade Points are a channel's own points. When the streamer turns them on, viewers earn them by playing, for example by landing in the pool in Parachute Drop, and spend them on the streamer's rewards, on Plinko or on !ai. They are not Kick or Twitch channel points and they are not coins. Points on Kick and on Twitch are kept separately.

Are Arcade Points or coins worth real money?

No. Arcade Points can't be bought, can't be turned into money and can't be moved to another channel or platform; streamers can't add points to viewers by hand either. Coins aren't money and can't be turned into money. The details are in the terms.

How do I start the game on my stream?

Sign in with Kick or Twitch on the setup page, pick your game, copy the OBS address and add it to OBS as a browser source. While that source is on, the game is ready: when a viewer types the drop command, their character drops. The OBS guide walks you through it step by step.
