About ChatArcade

ChatArcade turns a stream's chat into players. Viewers type a command and something happens on screen: a parachute comes down, a ball drops or a light spins. It's a small independent project, built and run by one person.

What it does

ChatArcade adds mini games to a Kick or Twitch stream through a browser source in OBS or any similar streaming app. Today, that means Parachute Drop, Plinko and Roulette, along with leaderboards, optional channel points, viewer rewards and a chat bot. There's also an optional Windows app for streamers who prefer to manage things outside the browser.

Who it's for

It's mainly for small and medium streamers, whose chat is close enough to the stream for a game to change the mood. A viewer doesn't need to install anything or create an account. A streamer needs a Kick or Twitch account and about two minutes.

The rules we build by

  • The server decides the luck. Plinko and Roulette results are decided on the server, not on the viewer's or streamer's computer.
  • Channels stay separate. Points, scores, settings and history belong to one channel on one platform. The same username on Kick and Twitch isn't treated as the same person.
  • Points have no monetary value. Arcade Points can't be bought or turned into money, and coins can't be used in chat games.
  • No fake reviews. The site doesn't show made-up reviews or numbers.
  • Five languages. The site, the app and the games are written for English, Turkish, German, French and Italian speakers, with bot replies following the channel's language.

How it's funded

The games, the leaderboards and many cosmetics are free. Streamers can unlock extra looks with coins, which come with a welcome gift, through Patreon support, with support codes or from invites. Coins only change how things look. The site may also show advertising in the future. If it does, the privacy policy will explain what that means. Viewing or clicking ads never earns coins, points or other rewards.

Your data

You sign in through the official Kick or Twitch page, so we never see your password. The privacy policy lists what's stored and for how long, and the terms explain the rules of the service. ChatArcade isn't part of Kick, Twitch or Patreon and isn't endorsed by them.
