How to add chat games to OBS

You only need OBS Studio (or any app with a browser source) and a Kick or Twitch account. It takes about two minutes.

1. Sign in with Kick or Twitch

Open the setup page and sign in. Your channel and chat connection are set up automatically.

2. Copy your overlay address

The setup page shows your personal overlay address. Copy it — it stays the same, so you only add it once.

3. Add a browser source in OBS

In OBS, click + under Sources, choose Browser, paste the address into the URL box and set the size to 1920 × 1080. Keep the source above your game or camera so the game stays visible.

4. Test before you go live

Use the preview and the test drop on the setup page. You see exactly what will appear on stream, and test drops never reach your real leaderboard.

5. Tell your viewers the command

Viewers type !drop in chat to jump. You can set your own command on the setup page, and moderators have extra commands.

If the game doesn't appear

Open the browser source's properties and click Refresh cache of current page, check that the source isn't hidden behind another layer, and make sure you copied the address from your own account.
