This page explains, in plain language, what ChatArcade stores, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It describes what the software actually does.

Who runs ChatArcade

ChatArcade is run by an individual, not a company. The operator is responsible for the data described here and is who you contact about it.

What we store

When you sign in with Kick or Twitch we receive and keep your account id, display name, profile picture address, channel name and the access keys that let us read your chat. While you use ChatArcade we also keep your coin balance, the items you own, your last 100 transactions, your overlay settings and your channel's overlay key.

What other people can see

Chat nicknames and scores appear on the stream overlay and on the site's leaderboards. While your overlay is connected, your channel name appears in the live list. Nothing else about you is shown publicly.

Age

ChatArcade is not meant for children under 13. Kick and Twitch set their own minimum ages and you need an account with one of them to sign in. If we learn that we hold data belonging to a child under 13, we delete it.

Chat messages

We read your chat live to spot game commands. Messages are not written to disk. Only the nickname and the score of a jump are saved.

Patreon

If you link your Patreon account, we store its id and a record of each support payment: identifier, amount, date and status. Card details never reach us — Patreon handles the payment and we only see whether it went through.

Cookies and browser storage

One signed cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days. Your browser also remembers your language and sound preferences locally. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.

No tracking

ChatArcade contains no analytics, no advertising networks and no third-party scripts. Your IP address is used for a few seconds in memory to limit abuse and is not written to disk.

Who we share with

We do not sell or share your data with anyone. Information travels to Kick, Twitch and Patreon only as part of connecting your own account to them; each has its own privacy policy.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Your session cookie is signed and cannot be read by scripts in your browser. Files holding access keys, wallets and payment records are written with owner-only permissions and saved atomically so a crash cannot corrupt them. No method is perfect, but nothing here is left casually exposed.

Where your data is processed

Your data is processed on ChatArcade's own server in Turkey, not on a third-party platform. If you are in the European Economic Area, this means your data is transferred outside it. Kick, Twitch and Patreon process their own part of the data on their own infrastructure.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your data while your account exists. Choosing Disconnect in the profile menu cancels the chat subscription and deletes the stored access keys. Scores and coins are removed on request — write to us and we will delete them.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how it is used. Turkish data protection law applies; if you are in the EU, the equivalent rights under the GDPR apply as well, including the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Write to us and we will answer.
